Terms and conditions

These terms describe the use of Prepaidfactuur.nl, prepaid credit, accounts, data, support, availability and the main agreements around privacy and GDPR.

Article 1 – Identity of the entrepreneur

Article 2 – Service and applicability

Prepaidfactuur.nl provides an online invoicing service that allows users to manage, among other things, invoices, credit invoices, quotes, customers, products, expenses, reports, wallet, email settings and PDF documents. These terms apply to the use of the website and application.

Article 3 – User account

An account is personal. The user is responsible for correct data, careful use of the password and preventing unauthorised access. Abuse or suspected abuse must be reported as soon as possible.

Article 4 – Prices, credit and prepaid model

Prepaidfactuur.nl works with a prepaid model. The user tops up credit and uses it for certain paid actions. The current rates, balance and usage in the application are leading. Credit is linked to the account and is not intended as a payment method outside Prepaidfactuur.nl. Refunds or corrections only take place when legally required or when Prepaidfactuur.nl agrees in a specific case.

Article 5 – Ownership of data

Data entered by the user, such as customer data, company data, products, invoices, quotes and expenses, remains the user’s data. Prepaidfactuur.nl uses this data only to provide, secure and support the service or when legally required.

Article 6 – Use and abuse

The user uses Prepaidfactuur.nl only for lawful business purposes. Abuse, spam, fraud, malware or activities that may harm the availability, security or reputation of the service are not allowed. In case of abuse, access may be temporarily or permanently restricted.

Article 7 – Privacy and GDPR

With Prepaidfactuur.nl, the user may enter personal data. For data entered by the user, the user is usually the controller. Prepaidfactuur.nl processes that data to provide the service. More information is available in the privacy policy and on the GDPR page.

Article 8 – Availability and maintenance

Prepaidfactuur.nl aims for good availability, but cannot guarantee that the service will always be available without interruption. Maintenance, outages, updates, security measures or external suppliers may affect availability.

Article 9 – User responsibility

Prepaidfactuur.nl is not a tax adviser, accountant or legal adviser. The user remains responsible for checking invoices, VAT choices, invoice languages, administration, filings, retention duties and legal obligations.

Article 10 – Liability

Prepaidfactuur.nl is not liable for damage caused by incorrect use, incorrect input, tax choices made by the user, temporary unavailability of the service or data that the user deletes themselves, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Article 11 – Termination and data

The user may stop using the service. Upon termination, the user remains responsible for timely downloading or retaining documents and data needed for their own administration or statutory retention duties.

Article 12 – Changes, law and disputes

Prepaidfactuur.nl may amend these terms. Dutch law applies to these terms and the use of Prepaidfactuur.nl. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
